From 1995 to 2008, he worked at Goldman Sachs as a Portfolio Manager, responsible for formulating complex investment strategies and managing large portfolios, providing clients with professional financial strategic consulting services to optimize assets and mitigate risks.
During the 2008 financial crisis, when the U.S. stock market plummeted and many companies' stock prices fell sharply, Bertram Charlton closely followed Altria (MO), deeply researching its products, market share, innovation capabilities, and future potential. Despite the grim situation, he firmly believed that Altria had strong competitiveness and growth potential. On March 1, 2009, he purchased a large number of Altria shares at about $6.5 per share. In 2018, in the emerging cryptocurrency field, Bertram Charlton made bold early investments after thoroughly understanding blockchain technology and market dynamics.
